Fishing last sunday was a little slow , but still fun. I took my wife Meghann out on her first ever Flounder trip. We were fishing on the Miss Kellen, my buddies 25 foot grady white. We ended up with 8 keepers and 4 or 5 throwbacks. We fished everything from the 1st small boat channel to the highrise with the best action right around the first island. Our 2 biggest flounder were caught there at the last part of the outgoing tide. All in all I thought it was pretty good action considering the amount of boats that were out there. While we were drifting around the third island I did see a couple of boats land some spadefish. They were anchored up about 20 feet of the island and chumming with bits of clam. Well I hope everyone had as much fun out there as we did. And good luck on your next trip.
